Welcome to Smile Worthy Orthodontics (operated by Dr. Lisa Eckenstein). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our websites, smileworthyortho.com and smilesbydrlisa.com (collectively, the “Site”), and your participation in our SMS/text messaging program. By accessing our Site or opting into our messaging program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or participate in our messaging program.
1. SMS/Text Messaging Program
Smile Worthy Orthodontics offers a text messaging program to communicate with patients and prospective patients.
Program Description
By opting into our messaging program, you agree to receive text messages (SMS) from Smile Worthy Orthodontics. These messages may include appointment reminders, scheduling communications, treatment updates, responses to your inquiries, and occasional marketing or promotional offers related to our orthodontic services.
Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies. You will receive messages based on your interaction with our office, such as when you have an upcoming appointment or request information. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Please check with your mobile carrier for details on your specific plan.
Opt-Out Instructions
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode or number from which you received the message. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. The delivery of text messages is subject to the effective transmission from your wireless service provider/network operator.
2. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Our use of your personal information, including the data collected through our messaging program, is governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
As stated in our Privacy Policy, no mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
3. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Site. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any service provided through it at any time without notice.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Smile Worthy Orthodontics or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our express written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smile Worthy Orthodontics shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Site or our messaging program.
